LAMC Now Offering Orthopedics And Sports Medicine With The Addition Of Surgeon Dr. Ronald D. Wheeler

LOS ALAMOS, NM (August 28, 2024) – Los Alamos Medical Center is very pleased to announce that the hospital is now offering a full range of orthopedic and sports medicine services for all ages. The announcement comes with the arrival of highly experienced orthopedic surgeon Ronald D. Wheeler, MD, to the newly established Los Alamos Orthopedics & Sports Medicine clinic. The clinic is located at Suite 225 inside Los Alamos Medical Center.
Dr. Wheeler has an extensive background in orthopedics, having trained and conducted research at several prestigious medical institutions throughout the country, including Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York and Stanford University in California. His background includes sports medicine, having served as team physician for many high school and college sports programs. Dr. Wheeler has received numerous honors and has held various teaching and professional appointments. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
