Los Alamos Medical Center Welcomes Debra Temple As Interim CNO

LOS ALAMOS, NM (January 13, 2025) – Los Alamos Medical Center is pleased to announce the arrival of Debra Temple, MHA, BSN, RN as the hospital’s Interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Debra has more than 14 years of medical executive leadership, spanning inpatient rehabilitation, long term acute care and acute care settings.

Debra holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Healthcare Administration, both from the University of Texas at Arlington. In her career, she has been privileged to have held roles as a Chief of Nursing, Chief Clinical Officer and as an Interim Chief of Nursing at facilities both on the acute and post-acute sectors of healthcare.
Her goal as a leader at LAMC is to lead by example, collaborate with nurses to improve processes, and, most of all, be a strong support for the clinical team, an active listener, and to bring individuals together to achieve common goals.
Originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Debra and her husband moved to New Mexico in 2016 and currently reside in Ruidoso. Outside of work, Debra’s interests include family time with her four amazing grandkids, traveling, skydiving, running, and sometimes just sitting at home reading a good book.
