LAMC’s state-of-the art 9-bed Emergency Room, which opened in January 2006, is staffed 24 hours a day by board-certified emergency doctors from HealthFront Emergency Physicians. For the most serious emergencies, the hospital has immediate access to an air ambulance service. In cooperation with Los Alamos National Laboratory, LAMC also maintains an ultra-modern decontamination facility, fully equipped to handle medical trauma patients.
