Emergency Services
LAMC’s state-of-the art 9-bed Emergency Room, which opened in January 2006, is staffed 24 hours a day by board-certified emergency physicians. For the most serious emergencies, the hospital has immediate access to an air ambulance service. In cooperation with Los Alamos National Laboratory, LAMC also maintains an ultra-modern decontamination facility, fully equipped to handle medical trauma patients.
